Our Story

The Peppermint Pig Boutique is a Mobile Retail Boutique specializing in wonderful home and gift items. Our adorable store is a vintage 1966 Shasta Trailer that has been lovingly restored to bring you a unique shopping experience. Most of our products are made by women in third-world countries while promoting fair trade and fair wages for these women. Our colorful shop on wheels travels to equestrian shows, fairs and special events throughout Southern California.

Some amazing items we carry are artisanal purses & bags from Madagascar, Eco-friendly sunglasses, handcrafted organic goat soaps & lotions, beautifully detailed jewelry, fun kitchen towels & napkins….just to name a few.

Each week The Peppermint Pig Boutique hosts different artists & vendors to show off their wonderful & unique items.

Our Muse

Did you know that THE Wilbur Roscoe Jenkins, who is an international Instagram and Facebook sensation himself, is our inspiration & muse for The Peppermint Pig Boutique? Wilbur came to our family as an eight-week old rescue piglet. As the saying goes “Who rescued who?” Two years later, Wilbur is a member of our family who lives in our house along with Pepe the pug, Gabby his older sister a lab-mix and sassy Ginger the red-headed kitty. Wilber acts and thinks heʼs a dog and fits right in. Wilbur has brought so much joy & color into our lives, which has inspired us to create a brand that does the same for others!
